Hazel Green: more house, more land

Hazel Green sits about 15 miles north of downtown Huntsville along US-231. It's traditionally a rural community, but as Huntsville has grown, the area has filled in with newer subdivisions offering more square footage and bigger lots than you'll find in town for the same money.

If you want a half-acre or more, a newer build, and you don't mind a 20–30 minute commute, Hazel Green is one of the strongest value plays in the metro.

Schools and community

Hazel Green schools are part of the Madison County Schools system. Hazel Green High has a strong athletic and agricultural program, and the community has a small-town feel — Friday-night football, county fair, and the rolling Tennessee-line countryside.
